COVENANT Teaching 4

My apology for the time of silence. We visited a dear sister of us in VanWyks dorp in the Karoo and had a great time with her. We attended a friend of us son’s wedding in George. The wedding theme was medieval time and my lovely wife made some of the clothing for the wedding. She had a hard time getting me into bobby socks but for the sake of our friends son I agreed…. (I'm the one with the bobby socks as you can see). After the wedding we spent some time with lovely people at their drug and alcohol restoration center in George. We learned a lot from them and enjoyed the time with them very much. I will share some thoughts about that on this blog.

Let’s look at what we discover on our journey this week. We continue with His Covenant.

It starts with the words: “YAHUWAH I am, The Almighty Eternal Loving YAH creating His People, who is continually delivering you out of the houses of bondage. Have no foreign gods (Elohim) before your face!

You must not make nor consume any contamination, nor make any image to worship, not of anything that is in the ShamaYAim above, or that is in the Earth beneath, or that is in the water under the Earth.

You must not bow (subjugate) yourself down to it, nor serve them, for I, YAHUWAH am your Almighty Loving YA of All Creation, I am The Only Almighty Eternal Loving One. …” I MoshAH 2:5-6a (Genesis)

What or who is FOREIGN GODS?

If we want to be realistic and apply plain common sense we need to say to each other that there can only be ONE God, One Creator and One in control of the universe.

It is now for you and me to decide who that One and Only One is!

Let’s get practical here and look at some principles. If I design and make a car or whatever, I am more superior in intelligence and ability than the car. Can the car ever claim to be superior to me if I made it? I don’t think so! Then if someone makes an idol how can an idol be there God. I think we can all agree that we humans are the most superior being on earth compered to everything else that was created. So if that is the case then the One that designed and created us must be way more intelligent and superior to us to be able to create such a sophisticated being. Were we created to be free beings, YES! Everyone on the face of the earth has the choice to believe in whom or what they see is right.

The biggest lie ever told to mankind is that they are gods themselves. How can you be your own creator? Even that computer screen you are staring at right now was created by someone!! How in the world can something so intelligent just happen. It is beyond the simplest logic.

The God I identified as my God is the one I quoted from above. You are free to choose Him or reject Him, I can’t tell you who to believe in and neither can you tell me. The most basic principle of AhabiYA (unselfish love of YA) is the freedom to choose! What you sow, you and you alone can reap. If you sow wheat you will reap wheat. Your decision will therefore determine your outcome and future.

Something created by you or were co-created by God can therefore not be your God. That is a foreign god (Elohim).

CONTAMINATION

We are not to make nor consume any contamination.

This I think is pretty straight forward. One thing we must realize is that the Covenant and it’s applications were not written for YAHUWAH but for us. He knows what is best for us. Again if I created a Ferrari I will tell you not to go and 4x4 with it for surely you are going to mess it up big time. Am I arrogant by telling you that, no. I created that so I know what my intensions for it are. The choice then still rests with you, once you bought it and it becomes yours and also your responsibility to do with it whatever you want. So if I tell you to use unleaded petrol and you decide to use diesel it is your choice but also your RESULT that will follow.

Then how dear fellow people can’t we understand that if YAHUWAH created us, is He not entitled to tell us what He had in mind for us and what He knows will be good and healthy for us. I would think so!! See, again the choice to obey or not is with you.

If YAHUWAH in His Word tells us to eat FOOD that He created for our good health and we decide to eat stuff that was modified and messed up by so called clever people, or that is listed in His Word as contaminated. What do you think is going to happen? Did he tell us to make junk food, make cigarettes and smoke them, make drugs and consume it? So where does the responsibility rest? Only with you and me my friend!

You know what is the greatest audacity we as humans have? If we get sick, are in a motor accident and blame it on God. We are quick to follow the foreign gods and if things boomerang on us, we are quick to ask: Where is God?

One such a classic example of such audacity that comes to mind was when 9/11 happened in the USA the first thing people asked: “Where is God?” One wise woman stood up and said: “You pushed Him out of your government, out of your schools and out of your lives. He is a gentleman, He left, and now you ask: Where is God.” OUDASITY!!!

We can and do also make and consume contamination in our souls and spirit. There is hundreds of ways we can do this. Getting involved in false gods (Elohim). They teach you things that is not from YAHUWAH. Just one classic example, He made us to be YAish (man of YA) and ishAH (woman of YA) provided we are in Covenant with Him. He never intended or instructed two men or two women to be one.

Were we ever designed to murder each other? Not in His Manual!

Were we ever instructed to lust after another man’s wife? Not in His Manual.

You sleep with a prostitute, you not only contaminate your body but also your soul.

So all the pain and trauma that we experience on earth…..who’s responsible for that?

Yes, Shatan started it all by being the first one to rebel against YAHUWAH out of pride and arrogance. But YOU decide who you follow!!! The Light or the darkness. Just like the story of the Ferrari, you decide what you do with that which was given to you, therefore the outcome and result of your actions is also your responsibility, don’t blame it on someone else and least not on YA.

The Way to go

Yes my friend you might have had a bad start, being in foster care, having a drunk for a father, being molested by your uncle, what ever your painful experience was in your life, but it is only you that is going to decide to stop this tragic chain of events and turn your life around by taking responsibility for yourself and stop blaming all your misfortunes on everybody else.

You have the free choice to choose Life that is in YAHUWAH or death that is in Shatan.

     

You see my dear friend; YAHUWAH has set the stage for you and me to be receiving His love, His forgiveness and His care. We are the ones to decide whom we will follow and before whom do we bow ourselves.

But if you love Him……..then follow His commandments (Covenant) for He knows exactly what you need to be free, happy and have His peace.

Visiting our friends drug and alcohol restoration centre in George made me realize that you cannot exchange one drug for another, getting of cocaine and getting on anti-depressants and all those contaminations. There is only one solution, take responsibility of your life, your decisions and your future by following the right Way, The Way of YAHUWAH.

He loves you, wants you to be happy and wants you to enjoy all the goodness He created. If you go to Him, doesn’t matter what you have done till now, He will NEVER turn you away. But you cannot follow Him on your or Shatan’s rules.

My dream, prayers and vision for you is to experience YAHUWAH first hand. One thing I can guarantee: 

YOU WILL NEVER BE SORRY YOU DID!

"Pledge yourself and walk in these, My MitsUWAH (Commandments of YAHUWAH) and My RUWach shall lead you to rejoice in The Way of Yasha YAHUW (the Saviour YAHUW) He will come in My Name for the forgiveness of your sins and lead you to Me. And I will reward you with Life Eternal." 1 MoshAH 2:9 (last part) (Genesis).

COVENANT Teaching 3

Winter has finally arrived here. But winter can also be good. It is now time to snug into those warm jackets, nice warm soups, stews and sitting in front of the fire place. There is also always something to be grateful for. To have a house to stay in and a warm bed is not to be taken for granted.

Let look at what we discover on our journey this week.

It starts with the words: “YAHUWAH I am, The Almighty Eternal Loving YAH creating His People, who is continually delivering you out of the houses of bondage.” I MoshAH 2:5 (Genesis)

Created to be free!

Let’s first establish what was, is and shall always be YAHUWAH’s intention with us.

Do you think we are created to LIVE FREE or LIVE IN BONDAGE?

"Let no unbelieving man ever put you under his subjection" TitUW 2:15. (The Crown is YAHUW sn-Titus)

"You were bought with a price, so do not become bond servants of men. You are to be a free man, as YAHUWAH has redeemed you to be." I CorinthiYAns 7:23.

What would you say is the answer to the above question? A man or woman of YAHUWAH is destined to be living as FREE people. Only in subjection to Him and to Him alone.

What is meant by FREE in the contexts of His Word?

“YAHUW answered them, "Most assuredly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is the servant of sin.

A servant does not live in the master’s house. Yet ‘A Son of YAH’ lives in The House of The Master El YAH forever.

If therefore The Son of YAH makes you free, you will be free indeed.” YAHUWchanon 8:34-36 (sn-John)

From this section it can be seen that committing sin creates a bondage and not freedom!!!

“But now, being made free from useless rebellion against YAH and having become servants of Almighty Loving YA of All Creation you will have your fruit of being purified which results in Eternal Life.

For the wages of ignorance and rebellion against The Word is death, but the free gift of Almighty Loving YA of All Creation is Eternal Life through the Eternal Loving King of The Family in YAH, even YAHUWAH our Master.” RomaniYA 6:22-23.

But becoming a servant of YAHUWAH establishes your freedom from the bondage of sin through YAHUWAH our King (YAHUWshua). Because your sins have been forgiven and you received the RUWach from YAHUWAH to help you to sin no more. You will not desire to continue in your old habitual ways of sin. We realize one important thing here, it says THROUGH YAHUW!!! This brings us to the next important factor.

You need a REDEEMER

You need someone to bail you out, set you free and pay the price on your behalf. Like phoning someone to come and bail you out of jail because our sin brings the fair judgement of YAHUWAH over us just as the police would arrest you for murder.

Here is the GOOD NEWS!!! The Almighty Loving YAH of All Creation made a perfect plan to set you free from your bondage…..His One and only Son YAHUWshua (YAHUW our Salvation) who paid the price not in money but with His own BLOOD and made the one perfect sacrifice to redeem those that will choose Him as their Saviour and door to the Father.

“For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, we will also be part of His resurrection. Knowing this, that our old unbelieving man (adam) was nailed to the execution pole with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin. For he who has died to sin has been freed from sin” RomaniYA 6:5-7.

Houses of Bondage

What brings us into bondage? We read it above – SIN.

You now go and sit somewhere in a quiet place and evaluate your life, and you will realize if you have not become united with Him you might still be living in serious bondage. His will to set you free remain, it is us that needs to bring every identified bondage to Him for redemption even after we made a covenant with Him we can still identify areas of our life that needs alignment with His precious Word for our own goodwill and freedom.

Just to get you going let us name a few that comes to mind. Anything that Shatan uses to prevent you from being the free man YAHUWAH created you to be.

Pornography, gambling, Drugs: Alcohol, Nicotine, Cocaine, LSD, including medical drugs,  prostitution, the love of money, to lend money you become someone’s slave.

To trust in man and all his pagan religions (Elohim) for salvation.

Junk food, coffee, sodas, sugar (You might think “Sugar”? well my wife and myself have recently realized that we cannot get rid of our cravings for sugar and had to confess and start dealing with it, for our bodies health sake)

Infidelity, adulatory, pride and arrogance, to name only a few.

We can divide them into two groups “Spiritual houses of bondage” and “Physical bodily bondages”

    

Being addicted to junk food or sugar might most probably not cost you your salvation but it sure will cause you a lot of trouble and illnesses that you can prevent by following YAHUWAH’s commandments to eat FOOD not junk.

   

Rebelling against YAHUWAH and rejecting His Sons sacrifice will definitely cause you to lose your chance to freedom and receiving eternal life and perish by the Great Judgement of YAH. The choice is YOURS!!

COVENANT Teaching 2

We had a couple of cold and rainy days here in Cape Town but this morning we have a lovely sunshine day. Our one son is visiting us for the week from Pretoria and we are having such a great time with him. Children are a sure blessing from YAHUWAH.

Now that we have established the basis for the introduction to the Covenant of YAH let us now start by dissecting His Covenant piece by piece so we can get the full knowledge of what this very important Covenant teaches.

A Covenant is always between two parties. YAHUWAH and ………… (a person’s name) is the most important covenant for us as His created people also made possible by His Blood and sealed by His RUWach (Spirit). Then there is another blood Covenant between a YAish (Man of YAH) and an ishAH (Women of YAH) a Covenant Marriage.

So in a Covenant, like any contract on earth, you will find listed the two parties making the agreement. In the case of a Covenant with YAHUWAH it is a “Pledge” you make or enter into.

The Introduction

In every Covenant you find right in the beginning being introduced to the parties involved with the Covenant or contract. This Covenant is not different.

It starts with the words: “YAHUWAH I am, The Almighty Eternal Loving YAH creating His People,….”

Now we know exactly who is one of the most important members of this Covenant or Agreement. The other party to the agreement is left open!!! It is a clear indication that His invitation to this Covenant is available to whoever wishes to go into Covenant with Him.

No prescription to WHO it should and shouldn’t be. He introduces Himself as “YAHUWAH I am”

"For YAHUWAH so loved the world that He gave His One Eternal Beloved Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have Eternal Life." YAHUWchanon 3:16. (John)

“There is Salvation in no other name. For there is no other name, under heaven, given among men, by which we can be saved.” MaasAH MalakiYA 4:12. (Acts)

“How much worse punishment, do you think, will he be worthy of, who has trodden underfoot The Sacrificial Love of The Son of Almighty Loving YA of All Creation and has counted His Blood of The Covenant with which He was sanctified like a filthy thing, insulting YAHUW’s RUWach of Chanon (Covenant Forgiveness)?” AbraYAHUW 10:29.

I don’t think it can be made clearer than this, WHOEVER! If you or I choose to follow Him, your name gets written in as the other person to the Covenant. Into the book of Life!!

  

Who do you Covenant with?

Now it is important that we get one thing straight here!!! In this Covenant you Covenant to YAHUWAH, and YAHUWAH alone. There are only two parties in His Covenant!

You cannot be in Covenant with Him and at the same time any other pagan god (elohim) or yourself.

In the word of YAH this is spelled out right from the word go and it is made clear that trying to be involved in any other relationship and fooling yourself that you are also in Covenant with Him just doesn’t exist. You are either in Covenant with Him or someone or something else. There’s a signboard on our highways that reads “Don’t fool yourself, speed kills” Well I want to tell you not to; “Fool yourself, you are either in Covenant with YAHUWAH or not”!

A modern day movement and actually if you go back into history you find this one fundamental lie being propagated that “All roads lead to God.” Whether you are Buddhist, Hindu, Islam or whatever. It is also very prominent again in the day and age we live in. In the first teaching I quoted the verse that tells us clearly that you cannot serve two masters. It is so important that we get this basic principle. Choose who you follow and go full out!

If you want to be a Hindu, go full out and be a proper Hindu. But in the same breath if you want to be a YAHUWan then also be one full out!! There is no grey area, no common ground and no compromise, don’t fool yourself. We are not deceived by this lie!

Covenant / Contract Principles

Any Covenant or contract has three basic principles.

1       Who is in Covenant?

2    Ownership

3     Liabilities and promises

I’m not a legal expert of any note but I think this should help us understand the basics.

Who is in Covenant?

We have already touched on this subject above. There have to be two basic parties to a make it a Covenant. In this case we are talking about YAHUWAH who comes to you and me and presents us with His Covenant. For the first principle to be in place we see that there needs to be two. So if you want to be or already are in Covenant with Him you sit down and you pick up His covenant presented to you and read what it is all about. Just as you would in an attorney’s office if you were to buy a house, a car, a business agreement, partnership, ext.

Your name and the person or party you enter into agreement would be typed on the contract. You would both sign the last page and every page of the contract to indicate that you and the other party are in agreement with the whole contract.

The Contract is normally presented from the person with the highest authority, for example if you lend money from a bank they would compile the contract and not yourself. Same here YAHUWAH compiled the Covenant and not us. One great thing I love about His Covenant is that it is short, precise and straight with no hidden small print. Signed and sealed in the Blood of His Son. That was His signature to the Covenant, now you need to sign from your side that is when you pledge yourself to His Covenant. You can basically also sign at every “commandment” as your commitment to adhere and keep your part of the agreement.

“Brothers, speaking in human terms about only man's covenants (contracts), yet when it has been signed and confirmed by witnesses, no one can make it void, or can add to it by himself alone.” GalatiYAns 3:15.

  

“However Almighty Loving YA of All Creation’s firm foundation stands, having this seal, "YAHUWAH knows those who are His,” and, "Let everyone who worships The Name of YAHUWAH separate himself from those who are not seeking His Word."

II TimotheUW 2:19.

Can you break a Covenant? Yes just like some people do every day. The theory of once saved always saved has a strict requirement: You have to stay in Him and His Covenant to the end. If you so wish to climb out of the Covenant along the way, it is your choice and free decision. YAHUWAH has and never will force anybody to love and serve Him! AhabiYA (Unselfish love of YAH) has as its basis freedom to choose. YAHUWAH is not into forced Covenants, arranged marriages ext. You choose to follow Him or not. Just as a Man ought to present to his potential wife his covenant and she is to accept it by free will and then if she does accept it they are to stay in Covenant. Infidelity is not part of His will. We will discuss that later when we get to that Covenant requirement.

“Not according to The Partial Covenant that I made with their fathers, in the YAom that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Mitseri, for they did not continue in My Covenant and therefore I had to discard most of them as My witnesses,” says YAHUWAH The Master.” AbraYAHUW 8:9. (Hebrews)

“Remain in Me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in Me.

I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in Me and I in Him, the same bears much fruit, for separate from Me you can do nothing forever.

If a man does not remain in Me, he is thrown out as a branch and is withered and they gather them, throw them into the fire and they cease to be.” YAHUWchanon 15:4-6.

Ownership

Every Covenant or contract details the ownership involved. You pay all the payments for the car and after you paid the last payment ownership of the car is transferred to you. Clear principle and generally understood and applied in practice, unless you are a wordless person that is a Covenant breaker. Ownership has to do with someone buying something and paid for it. Only then is ownership established, otherwise it is called stealing when you don’t pay the price agreed for it.

So in YAHUWAH’s Covenant there is also a transaction involved. You and I needed to be BOUGHT at a price set by Him. His Son YAHUW came and paid the full price to make His and Your contract legal and to establish ownership! Provided that you Covenant with Him, if your signature (pledge) is not on the Covenant there exists no Covenant, simple as that.

“for you were bought with a price. Therefore exalt Almighty Loving YA of All Creation in your body and in your spirit, which are The Almighty El YAH’s.” I CorinthiYAns 6:20.

“You were bought with a price, so do not become bondservants of men. You are to be a free man, as hwhy has redeemed you to be.” I CorinthiYAns 7:23.

“But to as many as did receive Him, to them He gave the power to become ‘sons of El YAH,’ that is to those who believe in His Name.” YAHUWchanon 1:12.

“If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world’s system, since I chose you to come out of the world’s system, therefore the world hates you.” YAHUWchanon 15:19.

Liabilities and promises

In an agreement of any sort there are liabilities and promises (agreements) made. If you pay R500 000 for the flat it becomes yours. IF you don’t then it is taken back and it doesn’t become yours.

YAHUWAH stated His Promises clearly. If you Love Him, Call upon His Name, Keep your Covenant (pledge, follow) His commandments and do everything through His AhabiYA (unselfish love of YAH then He gives certain promises.

Firstly: All your sins are forgiven and forgotten. (Paid for in full)

Secondly: He will give you His RUWach as a seal and deposit of,

Thirdly: Eternal Life!

If you don’t Covenant with Him, that is of cause your decision He also determined that you are not part of His ownership therefore part of Shatans ownership and you then don’t qualify for His Covenant promises, forgiveness, RUWach and eternal Life. Is that unjust? Definitely not! You have a FREE choice to accept His Covenant or not. You can’t have your bread buttered both sides my friend it is either or. You are either in Covenant with Him or you are not. I’m just recording the basic Covenant promises here that are important to our salvation. There are plenty more, “My peace I give to you”, freedom, happiness, joy, love ext.

In our day and age and especially the western populations have a serious misunderstanding of the basic fundamental principles of an agreement. We very easily break an agreement and don’t think a thing about the complications it has. You see parents walking out on marriages, walking out on their responsibilities to care and raise their children, pay their bills and then blaming it on someone else. Not honouring their agreement.

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing and perfect will of YAHUWAH for you.” RomaniYA 12:2.

“You adulterers and adulteresses. Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with Almighty Loving YA of All Creation? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of EL YAH of All Creation.” YA’acob 4:4 (James)

“Blessed are those who will forgive others for they shall obtain forgiveness for themselves.” I MoshAH 2:17. (Genesis)

I think we have covered enough for one day, now let us think through these principles and understand their implications.
